Augusto Jaramillo Pineda and Kossi Sébastien Aholou-Wokawui

How did what is considered contemporary dance theatre today come about? Who has contributed to the fact that once upon a time new movement aesthetics the new tiken? What inspired, supported and inspired the pioneers of this development? Starting from these questions and from film portraits of nationally outstanding dance art personalities steptext’s young artists sought their own forms of expression in a two-week practical workshop. Under the guidance of Augusto Jaramillo Pineda and Kossi Sébastien Aholou-Wokawui, the young people also explored current dance styles such as jazz dance, pop, hip hop, modern dance and contemporary afro, as well as acting and improvisation techniques. Now they show at the show in the Schwankhalle: AND WE KEEP ON DANCING!
