Social orders are bursting “out of joint”. The balance of power is shifting on a global scale. In the European-South African coproduction OUT OF JOINT 6 dancers meet in a furious, poetic game of different aesthetics, contexts and languages.

Nothing is self-evident in this Babylon of physical coexistence. The dance, every gesture, every seperating and unifying element, even the breath is pulsating, oscillating between perception and attribution. In this sextet about explosive and centrifugal power, paralyses, fears and rebellion of both the individual and the social body, Shakespeare`s “time out of joint” burns as a living, current challenge.
