Gerhard Bohner / Simone Sandroni / Lali Ayguadé

The dancer and choreographer Gerhard Bohner is considered one of the pioneers of contemporary dance. After Zwei Giraffen tanzen Tango – Bremer Schritte by Helge Letonja, steptext dance project now presents a further examination of his work at Theater Bremen with the production past forward by Theater Bielefeld. It begins with a reconstruction of Angst und Geometrie, which was first performed by Bohner in 1990. In two new creations, the Bielefeld dance director Simone Sandroni and the Catalan choreographer Lali Ayguadé enter into a creative dialogue with his work. past forward brings a piece of dance history to life and at the same time makes connections to current trends in contemporary dance visible.
