Since October 2015 Kerstin Witges is steptext’s production manager. She finished her studies of French philology, applied cultural sciences and sociology at the Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster in 2010. During her studies she stayed in France several times and gained professional experiences at the Theater Titanick Münster, Goethe Institut Lyon und Centre culturel français Freiburg.

From 2010-2011 she worked as a project manager at the Plateforme de la jeune création franco-allemande, Lyon, concerned with the program „Arbeit beim Partner“ of the French-German Youth Foundation. She was entrusted with conceptualising, organising and realising workshops (dance, theatre,clownery, pantomime, etc.) for young artists. Upon her return, Witges worked as a cultural assistant at the Institut français Bremen, where she took responsibility of program coordination, project management and communication/ PR.
